A Review for Mara's Appetite

A blog review for Mara's Appetite as entry to Kaye and Pehpot’s Contest.

Mara's Appetite is another blog brought to you by Mara de Guzman. The title itself will give you the idea that this blog is about food, well about Mara food explorations. She actually have a confession the she spend most of her money on food, which I can just relate because sometime last year, I realized that we are spending a way too much for food, eating in a restaurant, trying out some new dishes. The sites header is just delicious, oh, is just perfect for the blog's theme, you can see images of cakes and candies. Just by looking on the header, I can hear my stomache. The labels on the sidebar is just perfect so visitors can just choose what food to eat, eerrr to visit and read.

She enjoys trying new food offered in the market may it be in a restaurant or just an instant Mac & Cheese. As she said having instant Mac & cheese for breakfast while playing Farmville is not bad at all. Just by browsing and looking at the pictures makes me hungry, and when I read her reviews, it just makes me realize that I'm still missing a lot of food out there. She also have the great dream to save up to buy a G11 camera for better food photos. She have this donate button on the sidebar, so maybe you are generous enough to give her a tip. I myself will give her a tip if I manage to grab some prizes at K & Pehpot's contest. :D :D

Mara's Personal Bubble

 

This is not my first time to visit Mara's Personal Bubble. And this time, I visited it to do my review as entry to K and Pehpot's Contest.  The site has a black background and white background for the main and sidebar. The header contains the title of the blog written in a box looks like a message post or sign board and have a pink background. The letters of "bubble" written on an animated bubble like design. The header itself already made an impression already. The sidebar contains some ads, widgets and banners that encourage the readers to earn online just like her.

The content of the blog is about Mara, the author of this blog. She talks about her daily life and her struggles. A lady who misses her dad so much, writes her daily thoughts very well. She writes it as if she is just talking to a friend, asking for advices. She feels sad and frustrated at times, but blogging and her friends are there to help her cheer up, making her realize that she have many reasons to smile and keep that bubbly spirit. She writes a good book review, joins weekly meme and contest and getting her fair share of luck. A site that has a lot to offer deserves your visit and your time.

A Review for Jena Isle's Random Thoughts

Leonardo Da Vinci said "Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication." This is the impression I got when I landed on Jena Isle's Random Thoughts. The blog's layout is quite simple, gray and white background. The header contains no image, just the white title of the site, with red background. Side bar with the usual contents, tags, blog roll, recent post and a few ads. Simple as it may be but the contents are so sophisticated. Jena Isle, the author of this blog is a dreamer and a writer. She is an allied medical professional, handling Clinical Chemistry, Endocrinology, Clinical Toxicology and Physiology subjects in the University where she is presently connected. Despite her busy schedule she still can manage 9 blogs. I got more inspired with How she started earning money online. Earning from blogs is hard, and it really needs patience and time for writing a good article. Her article, Should Husbands Help with the Household Chores answered an long time domestic question. It will help open up the minds of couples out there. If you are looking for topics about love, education, health writing and anything about life, Jena Isle's Random Thoughts is one of the best blog to visit. By the way, she also held random contest from time to time, like a guessing game in the Kalinga article. You will enjoy reading her articles and the chance of winning some money.

Review for Where the Moon Shines

I have come across Where the Moon Shines often. I would often land on Vera's pages whenever I click her badge on the adgitize widget. Thanks(again) to Kaye and Pehpot's contest, I am able to do a short blog review for this wonderful site. I like the black background of this site with blue and white fonts it is very easy for me to read the articles. The side bar contains a few widget and a few ads with the categories being available it is easier for me to navigate around the site.

Vera, the author of this site, have been blogging for over four years now. She loves reading stories, and she loves writing her own stories also. That's why I like reading her posts. I even learned that she is a Guitar Hero fan, just like me, she even plays Guitar Geek on FB, which reminds me I have to search for that game. She also shares everything about her life, friends, family, her dreams and even her love for photography. I saw a few photos already, and I like the pictures, its very interesting. If you are looking for a great blog, with a touch of photography, put Where the Moon Shines on your list.

A review for CrossRoads

I know this is not my first time to visit CrossRoads. But thanks to Kaye and Pehpot's Contest, I have the opportunity to visit this site again and much more to do a blog review.  The site have a mint green background that is very cool to the eye, with two column layout containing one big sidebar and two mini sidebar. The sidebar consists mostly of ads and some useful links, comments and the tag cloud. Though, the url and the title itself is very manly, I still didn't expect that the author is a guy since it contains lots of interesting articles about the local entertainment business. He writes any ideas that comes to his mind, be it an eye bulging news like the chop chop lady(just beware in clicking this) to lighter and funny stuffs like the foreign movie title translations.  I can feel that this guy have a good heart because his heart crashed over seeing an old woman near his house. If you are looking for some news, events, or you just missed a show in your favorite tv network, you can check CrossRoads and you might find what you are looking for. Like me, I just missed The Bottomline, and good thing, I came across this site, there are video clips of the show for me to watch and be updated.

Is It Always About Yuuki?

This is not my first time to visit It's not always about me. I visited her before through Talkph.net. The three column layout with pink and purple background is very feminine. The layout is very clean with a few ads and widgets. Archives is available but for me browsing would be a little easier if label or categories are also available so I can easily click what topic to go to. This blog was created by Yuuki to venture out some of her frustrations. Eventually, she enjoyed blogging and it reflects more of herself.

Like me, Yuuki loves joining contest. Other than that, she is an anime fan, asian dramas, reality shows and tv series. She is also a fan of Barbie that's why she supported a Movement to Inspire Girls. Got to remember to join this also. She also an active Girl Talker and loves Music Monday. Sunshine or Bambie is one the few people I met online before I entered blogosphere. I've bumped into her a couple of times in different paid to post forum. This lady is also into different get paid to programs. I believe she is a work at home lady, just correct me if I'm wrong :D

She is the author of My thoughts, My Heart, My Turf. I am a follower and constant visitor and commenter of this blog. My Addiction

I am a confessed forum addict. I joined different kinds of forum from wholesome to mature type of forum. I'm a get paid to addict. I joined different get paid to click sites, get paid to post forum sites, get paid to socializes, etc.. well except get paid to do reviews. hehe.Now, I'm on a vacation mode for that becuase I got addicted to no less than Facebok. I love the applications especially fish world, farmville, and cafe world.

And now something is pulling me away from my beloved Cafe. I'm spending so much time in Kaye & Pehpot's contest. This contest is so addicting that I have to go to an Internet cafe the other night while my hubby is playing basketball. It's so addicting that I forgot to serve the food at my cafe. Anyway here are seven things about myself:

1. I love the color red. Is it obvious? hehe. and my birthstone is amethyst, that's why I was able to get my username, redamethyst. been using this for more than 10 years now.

2. I am a mother to a five year old boy, Jerome James aka Jhay-jhay. I try to be the best mom for him, though sometimes

3. I've been independent since 17 years old. My mom and her family migrated to Paris, este Pangasinan. Being a working student is quite hard, challenging but fun.

4. I did mention my mom and her family, it's because I came from a broken family, my mom got married again when I was still in first year high school. This situation made me stronger.

5. I like math.

6. I'm a bit quiet at first, aloof, and sometimes mistaken as mataray. it's consistent, you can ask my friends what's their first impression about me, and the common answer is mataray. so the quote "first impression lasts" doesn't apply to me. hahaha

7. I have a new addiction. ehem. can you guess what?

Review for Reviews Inc.

Fifty BIG points for each blog review I make for Kaye & Pehpot's sites. Isn't it so tempting. It's like commenting on 25 articles in their blogs or reviewing 5 third level sponsor. So, I just can't let this big points pass. Honestly, I haven't done reviews until this contest. And Making a review for Review, Inc makes me nervous. It's like giving an advice to an adviser, or even a student teaching a teacher, because I'm just a newbie in doing reviews. But as they say, practice makes perfect, this will be a start of BIG things. Hahaha ^_^

Pehpot gave birth to Reviews Inc. in May 2009. This blog is dedicated to any kind of review, like movie review, blog review, of course baby reviews and a whole lot more. I like the simple layout, with red, white and baby blue color combination. The header contains a woman in red holding a pen reflects Pehpot herself probably thinking or making a new review on her favorite product or a blog. It is two column template that have big side bar and two small side bar. The categories will help you choose what review you like to visit first.

I enjoyed reading her, especially her review about an ultrasound centre. I am also a mother, and it makes me excited if ever I will be pregnant again to have an ultrasound at In my Womb. Her article about Blockbuster movies made me realize that I missed so much movies, now I'm planning to look for some dvd.
