I've always thought that having a "external nofollow" tag on the comment section is natural. Whenever I check some comment author's name or maybe a link in their comment, there is always a "nofolllow" tag. I think almost all the blogs I visit have this tag. But everything change when I read at the
Blogger Hub that this comment author link or the links in the comment can have a do follow tag.
I wanted my blog to have a Dofollow comment section, it's like spreading some love and help to my readers and commentators, so I searched on how to get rid of the no follow tag.
Getting rid of the no follow tag is easy, just open your blogger dashboard, click layout, then click edit HTML. Tick the small box near expand widget template and look for the following code:
href='data:comment.authorUrl' rel='nofollow'
href='data:backlink.url' rel='nofollow'
Just remove the text that are in red. Save the template and viola, your blog is a dofollow blog. My personal blog, Simple Pero Rock, will be a dofollow blog too, I am just waiting for
Sam, to do the editing. hehe. Thanks
Sam.
This site and Contest & Giveaway Craze site are both Dofollow blogs. I encourage comments but I discourage spammy comments. Comments are moderated and I will not approve any spam comments.
Thank you so much! :-*
